The Film Academy for Talents is organising a special CINEMA MASTERCLASS with Bashar Rahal, a one-day professional event devoted to acting for FILM.
The Cinema Masterclass will take place in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna.
This is an opportunity to see first-hand how a professional actor should work: how they think about a scene, analyse a script and build a character under real conditions on set.
The Film Academy for Talents is behind nine film productions, including successful titles, the latest being “One Gram of Life”, the most-watched Bulgarian film of 2025 and 2026. The CINEMA MASTERCLASS continues the Academy’s mission of bringing future actors together with people working in professional cinema.
During the masterclass, Bashar Rahal will work on preparing for a role, working with a script and developing a believable presence in front of the camera. He will also discuss the qualities that distinguish an actor who is ready for casting and filming.
Participants will explore how to prepare a scene, find the right action, build a character and approach a casting or filming day. They will gain a practical perspective on the profession and the discipline required for working in front of the camera.
Talent is only the beginning. Cinema also requires preparation, concentration and an understanding of how work on a film set is done. This is the focus of the CINEMA MASTERCLASS.
The event is intended for actors, young talents and anyone who wants to take their next serious step towards working in front of the camera. It is suitable both for participants with previous experience and for people just entering cinema who want to start with a clear direction.
The CINEMA MASTERCLASS will have dates in October and December 2026. The exact date, venue and detailed programme will be announced later.
Participation conditions The price for participants outside the Film Academy for Talents is €495 including VAT.
