Cybercrime — a film about online dangers
Cybercrime is based on real events and examines the dangers young people face online. It was written and directed by Atanas Mihaylov.
The film is a joint project by Cinema Academy for Talents, Devil Cinema and the Cybercrime Department of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate for Combating Organised Crime.
The film addresses chance encounters on social networks that can turn into nightmares, girls being blackmailed by paedophiles and bullying at school. It also examines cases in which students secretly film classmates in changing rooms after PE lessons and then share the videos online.
Featuring special appearances by boxer Tervel Pulev, TV presenter Niki Kanchev, Bobkata from Murda Boyz and singer Bilyanish.
