Could you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Simona Todorova, and I’m 15. I study Spanish at the Plovdiv Humanities High School. I love photography and feel equally comfortable in front of and behind the camera. I dream of becoming a model and actress, and also of working in tourism.
What is your role in the film?
In "Cybercrime", I play the new girl, Mira. There are five of us friends, and we are the so-called "bad girls": brazen and shameless, rude and unceremonious.
How did you prepare for it?
I prepared for my role with Atanas Mihaylov’s help and his guidance on acting for the camera, as well as with the help of the whole Film Academy for Talents team.
Did your experience at the Film Academy for Talents help you during filming?
Yes, the classes at the Academy definitely gave me more confidence to handle the role.
How did it feel to work with everyone else on the team during filming?
Taking part in the film and working with the whole team felt wonderful and was a dream come true. Seeing the magic of cinema happen firsthand was an incredible experience.
What is the coolest thing you will remember about filming?
The coolest thing I will remember about the film is the whole experience of being part of a shoot. There isn’t one particular incident or thing I would single out. I was impressed by everything and everyone, by the professional way we were treated even though we are still children, and by the film crew. I have incredible memories of the whole process!
